At 5 km of the Gîte on the road to Laragne and Sisteron, the Gorges de la Méouge (canyon) are classified biological reserve. This Wonder of the "High Alps " is a place for swimming and walks.
Downstream, near the entrance of the gorges (canyon) , you can borrow one of the walks that start from the Roman bridge and you will discover magical landscapes along the Méouge , or just find a few basins for swimming in a quiet corner.
